After a long wait for monsoon since months, finally the rains have come in Mumbai. The rainy season is the best and most enjoyable season of the year for trekkers. 3T’s decided to do their first monsoon trek to Siddhagad situated near the Murbad region. The plan was to leave on Saturday 12th June afternoon and reach the base village by evening and start the trek. Trek to Shivneri (Junnar)

It was now time to say goodbye to the hot summers and welcome the monsoons. 3T’s decided to visit this time the birth place of the great Shivaji Maharaj, Shivneri. Shivneri is situated on the Junnar plateau. Junnar is quite far from Mumbai and takes lot of time to reach. But we planned it as a one day trek. That day was really a long day. Trek to Sarasgad (Khapoli – Pali)

So finally the guy called as Sarasgad is also listed in the list of 3T. We had planned it two times previously but we never completed it. This time we decided to do it any how and hence made the plan for it. The plan was to do it as a one day trek. Unlike all other treks 3T has done so far, this trek was different.
